Duties: Plan, organize, and execute comprehensive student activities to foster a vibrant campus community; co-advise the Student Activities Board, manage student staff, and utilize engagement data (Give Pulse) to support the university retention and student development goals; organize major campus traditions and events, including Leadership Academy, Organization Fair, and Mulerider Roundup; hire, train, supervise, and mentor undergraduate student workers and graduate assistants; utilize Give Pulse software to track, monitor, and analyze student engagement metrics; maintain and reconcile departmental accounts related to student engagement initiatives; prepare detailed reports, analyze program documents, ensure all activities align with university policies, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; proven track record of planning and implementing activities or events for students; experience planning and implanting higher education programs specifically for undergraduate students; familiarity with campus engagement platforms (e.g., Give Plus); direct experience developing, evaluating, and assessing student leadership programs; proven experience supervising, mentoring, or advising undergraduate students; strong written and verbal communication skills tailored for diverse audiences (faculty, staff, and students); proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), databases, and software applications; ability to establish and maintain strong professional rapport across the campus community; ability to develop program objectives, assess campus needs, and align outcomes with institutional goal.
