The order form for each harvest is released the week before the sale.
Orders are packaged by students for pick up or delivery.
Pick up will be in the lobby of the Agriculture building or free delivery to the SAU campus.
Livestock is raised and finished by upper-level agricultural students, and then processed and packaged into retail cuts by a local vendor.
The produce and plants are grown and harvested from students enrolled in plant related courses.
The Mulerider Farmstead operates much like a real agricultural business with student learning at the center of every decision. The Mulerider Farmstead faces similar production challenges, successes, and mistakes. The revenue generated through the Mulerider Farmstead is reinvested into the agriculture program and, ultimately, back into the students.
