Southern Arkansas University’s District-Level Superintendent Licensure program prepares school leaders for district administration. This online, 18-credit-hour, non-degree program is designed for educators who hold a master’s degree and principal licensure. The curriculum addresses district finance, the superintendency, personnel, curriculum, and leadership in rural and varied communities.

Internship and Portfolio
The program includes a superintendent internship and graduate project. Candidates must meet the applicable coursework, practicum, and internship application requirements before enrolling. They must prepare and satisfactorily defend an administrative portfolio before applying for licensure.
Admissions
Applicants must hold a master’s degree, principal licensure, and at least three years of effective administrative experience.
