Checking Your Balance and Making a Payment

• If you are not already in new MySAU, access MySAU by clicking MySAU on the homepage or going to the direct link (https://my.saumag.edu).
• Log in to new MySAU and select Student (in the top blue toolbar).
• If charges have been billed, balance due should appear in My Financial Account.
• Select Make Payment.
• Select Fall 2026 and continue to payment checkout.
• A 3% credit card convenience fee may be applied. Debit card, checks, and cash will not be charged the convenience fee.

Setting Up a Payment Plan

• If you are not already in new MySAU, access MySAU by clicking MySAU on the homepage or going to the direct link (https://my.saumag.edu).
• Log in to new MySAU and select Student (top toolbar).
• Select Payment Plans in either the My Financial Account section, or the drop down menu for Billing.
• Select the Term and review your charges.
• Click Enroll in Payment Plan with Herring Bank and continue to follow instructions from there.
• Once your payment plan is in place, follow the steps for saving your schedule and completing the Financial Responsibility Agreement.

How to Check or Accept Your Financial Aid

Please make sure your 2026-2027 FAFSA and all required financial aid documents are completed. Required documents will be reflected in your portal. If you do not plan to accept your loan offer, you are not required to complete the loan entrance counseling or loan master promissory note. You are not required to accept Federal Pell Grant awards. You may email financialaid@saumag.edu if you have questions.

1. Navigate to my.saumag.edu.
2. Click Login in the top right corner.
3. Log in with your SAU username and password.
4. Complete Duo authentication.
5. If on a phone, open the menu (three lines).
6. Click Financial Aid (on a computer, this appears on the blue toolbar at the top of the page).
7. Click FA Jenzabar Financial Aid.
8. Scroll past Cost of Attendance, Total Offer, and Total Accepted Aid.
   • Orange tab = aid not yet accepted
   • Green tab = aid accepted
9. If the tab is orange, click Federal Direct Subsidized Loan – Federal Loan.
10. Choose Accept, Decline, or Request Reduction, then click Confirm.
11. The tab should now turn green if you accepted or reduced your loan offer.

MySAU Log-In Information

• Select Reset Password under the Quick Links menu on the left side of the portal.
• Complete the steps to setup your new password.
• After the password has been reset, your username and email will be viewable on the confirmation screen.
• If at any time you need to simply view your login information, visit the View My Login Information under the Quick Links menu.

Checking if Your Schedule is Saved

1. Navigate to my.saumag.edu/.
2. Click Login.
3. Click Student.
4. Click Academics.
5. Locate the information block titled Student Academic Information.
6. If you have a hold that says Unsaved Schedule-Fall you will need to make payment arrangements to save your schedule.
