Miscellaneous Fees or Costs
- Each student must maintain CPR/AED certification throughout the professional portion of the program
- Hepatitis B Shots (series of 3 shots and is strongly encouraged) $100 (per shot)
- A Student also has the additional expense of travel to two different professional meeting during their time in the professional program. One of the main goals of the Southern Arkansas University Athletic Training Student Club is to help raise money to offset some of the expenses to travel to those meeting.
During a student’s senior year one semester will be spent gaining experiences with a variety of other allied healthcare professionals. These experiences come in rotations at various location in Magnolia and in El Dorado. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has reliable transportation to and from each location. The cost to travel to off-campus locations is the responsibility of the individual student and will not be reimbursed by Southern Arkansas University or the Athletic Training Program.
