Research Interests:
– Understanding the autonomic, cardiovascular, metabolic, molecular, and respiratory changes (responses and adaptations) due to specific physiological stressors (diet, exercise, environmental conditions), and how these changes affect health, performance, and resilience in diverse populations.
– Understanding the real-world physiological health of under-served populations and distressed communities with limited access to healthcare, and expanding these populations and communities access to health information.
– Examining instructional strategies to enhance learning, retention, and application of knowledge across a variety of topics in kinesiology.
