The Physical Plant was built in 1974 during Dr. Imon E. Bruce’s term as president and his expansion. It is a metal building in the southwestern part of the campus. It houses the maintenance shops, offices, central supply, and warehouse facilities. Within the plant, a campus-wide automation system is operated that provides more than 4,000 points for energy conservation and remote monitoring.
