The Natural Resource Research Center (NRRC) is a 3,800-square-foot facility completed in July 2010. It was funded by both Southern Arkansas University and a grant from the Department of Commerce through the Arkansas Economic Development Administration. There are seven separate laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation and used to meet the needs of industries, public agencies, and private citizens. NRRC is part of the College of Science and Engineering and provides expertise and consulting in general research and development, quality control, and chemistry.
