The John F. and Joanna G. Magale Library was built during Dr. Imon E. Bruce’s term as president and opened in 1974. The library is a centrally located learning resource center that houses approximately 145,000 books, 127 desktop computers, 14 laptops, 9,822 audiovisual items, 32,234 microfilm and microfiche items, 27,437 government items, and many e-books and e-reference databases. The library website offers many digital resources and databases for student research, as well as essential academic resources. The library also offers many quiet study rooms and two library instruction labs on the third floor.
