Childs Hall, originally called the agricultural building, and sometimes called Jersey Hall, was remodeled in 1966 and housed faculty offices and 18 students who worked on the farm. It was later renamed Childs Hall in honor of the two-year agricultural program’s longtime chair, Orval A. Childs. Today, Childs Hall is home to several classrooms and contains offices and support facilities for the University Police and the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program.
