Bussey Hall, opened in 1951, was named after the school dietician and dining hall director, Mrs. Carol Bussey (1913-1956). Bussey Hall is a three-story all-female residence hall. It offers some of the largest double rooms on campus, each with a sink. The hall features luxury vinyl flooring throughout, a computer lab, a laundry room, and a lobby area. Each floor has two semi-private bathrooms. Renovations were made in the Summer of 2021 using a historical grant. Each room now has ceiling fans, an updated vanity area, and new built-in dressers, and the 2nd and 3rd floors both now have a new kitchenette with ovens. Bussey Hall is home to Living-Learning Communities (LLCs) of Health and Fitness and Studiers Unite, as well as several female sports teams. The first floor is dedicated to a 24-hour quiet area.
