While on campus, students are enrolled in core curricula classes selected from math, science, English, social studies, foreign language, study skills and computer science. Elective courses are offered in drama, art, and choral music.<\/p>\n<p>The Upward Bound summer residential program is designed so that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students live in a college residence hall with a roommate;<\/li>\n<li>Male and female students live on separate wings in the residence hall;<\/li>\n<li>A Hall Coordinator supervises hall staff and oversees all dorm activities; and<\/li>\n<li>Peer Tutor Counselors help supervise, counsel, and tutor students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the end of the summer, students and staff take a field trip to various locations where they visit museums, zoos, and attend other cultural events.
