Recipients are selected based on nominations submitted by peers and students, reflecting the genuine impact these individuals have had through their work with students, colleagues, the University and their respective disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025\u20132026 College of Science and Engineering Outstanding Award recipients are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Austin Shaw, Instructor of Mathematics \u2013 Outstanding Teaching Award<\/li>\n<li>Stacy Allen, Instructor of Mathematics \u2013 Outstanding Teaching Award<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Bruhadeshwar Bezawada, Associate Professor of Computer Science \u2013 Outstanding Research Award<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Adrian Showalter, Assistant Professor of Biology \u2013 Outstanding Service Award<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Josh Walker, Assistant Professor of Animal Science \u2013 Outstanding Advising Award<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cThese awards reflect the remarkable talent and commitment found throughout our college,\u201d said Dr. Abdel Bachri, dean of the College of Science and Engineering. \u201cWhat makes these recognitions especially meaningful is that the nominations come from peers and students, the individuals who see firsthand the dedication, mentorship, scholarship and service our faculty provide.
