SAU Choirs provides students from across the university with opportunities to grow as musicians,<\/strong>
build community, and experience the joy of singing together. Through the study and performance of<\/strong>
diverse choral repertoire, students develop their voices while creating meaningful musical experiences<\/strong>
for audiences on campus and throughout the region. SAU Choirs welcomes singers from all academic<\/strong>
majors and strives for excellence, artistry, and connection in every rehearsal and performance.<\/strong><\/p>

Audition Information\u00a0<\/h2>

Southern Arkansas University Choirs is open to students of all majors and experience levels. Whether music is your career path or choice of creative outlet, you have a place here.<\/p>

Choral scholarships of up to $5000 a year are also available to all students and can be combined with academic and private scholarships.<\/p>

Students receiving a choral scholarship are required to:<\/p>

Participate in one or more choral ensembles
Be enrolled full-time (at least 12 hours)
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher<\/p>

The priority audition deadline for scholarships for Fall 2027 is April 1, 2027.<\/p>
