{"id":15,"date":"2007-06-18T16:43:42","date_gmt":"2007-06-18T21:43:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/library\/library-services\/access-check-out\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T15:19:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T20:19:11","slug":"access-check-out","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/library\/access-check-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Access and Check Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--%subpages%--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Access to Electronic Resources<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Magale Library Login Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>If you are not a current SAU student<\/strong>\u00a0(enrolled in the current term) or SAU faculty\/staff member, you will not have access to the library&#8217;s resources.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Access Magale Library&#8217;s online resources by selecting the current links located on its website<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/library\/\">https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/library\/<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Your username is<\/strong>\u00a0the same username as what you type into Blackboard as your username (e.g., ABStudent1234).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your password is<\/strong>\u00a0your SAU ID number as found on your SAU ID card or in mySAU (without dashes or spaces, and manually typed in).<\/li>\n<li><strong>If you have used Magale\u2019s online resources previously<\/strong>, be aware that many of our links to resources have updated. You will need to use the current links provided on the library\u2019s website.<\/li>\n<li><strong>If you have bookmarked any of the library pages<\/strong>, please delete them and bookmark them using the updated library website links.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>You might also need to clear the cookies out of your internet software<\/strong>, as sometimes old versions of the webpage might interfere with logging in.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Here is a brief guide for clearing web browser history and cookies<\/strong>\/cache:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web-9635.kxcdn.com\/library\/files\/2025\/06\/To-clear-browser-history-and-cookies-from-most-web-browsers.pdf\">To clear browser history and cookies\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0(requires Adobe Reader,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/get.adobe.com\/reader\/\">https:\/\/get.adobe.com\/reader\/<\/a>). Resources provided by Magale Library are intended for private study use only, and are not to be reproduced, stored, disseminated, or redistributed. For more information on copyright and property rights, review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/library\/intellectualpropertyandcopyright\/\">Intellectual Property and Copyright guide<\/a>. AI tools and related resources provided through the library&#8217;s vendors may contain errors such as misinformation and misinterpretations, and should be used with consideration and caution, with no guarantee or warranty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Access to Physical Resources<\/h3>\n<p>Magale Library&#8217;s physical collection may be searched using the <a href=\"https:\/\/saul.sirsi.net\/uhtbin\/cgisirsi\/x\/x\/0\/49\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Search Library Catalog<\/a> tool located on the library&#8217;s website.
