We are excited to welcome all of our new SAU Muleriders!<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">Fall 2025 Orientation<\/h2>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;margin-left: 10%;text-indent: -5%\">\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> August 15, 2025<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: -5%\"><b>Please see the Schedule tab below to learn more about our orientation events.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: -5%\"><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Global Center \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/admissions\/campus-map\/\">Map and Directions<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>During orientation, you will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet current SAU students<\/li>\n<li>Complete immigration check-in<\/li>\n<li>Register for classes<\/li>\n<li>Arrange payment for classes<\/li>\n<li>Familiarize yourself with SAU, American culture, and Immigration policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For information on traveling, immunizations, clothing, what to pack, and more please visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/international\/students\/incoming-students\/planning-arrival\/\">Planning and Arrival<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Please make sure to click on each tab\u00a0below for important information!<\/strong><\/p>\n<details class=\"sau-spoiler\">\n<summary>Registration<\/summary>\n<div class=\"sau-spoiler-body\">It is <strong>mandatory<\/strong> to attend the Orientation Session. \u00a0Failing to attend orientation will delay your registration for classes and could cause complications with your immigration status.<\/p>\n<h4>What to bring to Orientation:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Copies of your passport ID and U.S. F-1 visa page<\/li>\n<li>Copy of<a href=\"https:\/\/i94.cbp.dhs.gov\/I94\/#\/home\"> I-94<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Completed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/international\/files\/2015\/12\/International-Immunization-Info.-Sheet.docx\">Medical History Form<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Immunization information \u2013 Proof of MMR Shot (if applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a class=\"sau-btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/international\/students\/incoming-students\/undergraduate-orientation-registration\/\">Register Now<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>ONLY SUBMIT ONE FORM<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details class=\"sau-spoiler\">\n<summary>Arrival and Transportation<\/summary>\n<div class=\"sau-spoiler-body\">\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">You need to schedule your arrival to coincide with these dates if you wish for SAU to provide transportation.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"sau-btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/international\/forms\/transportation-request\/\">Request Transportation<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You should plan to arrive at the Texarkana Regional Airport (TXK) in Texarkana, Arkansas.\u00a0 This is the\u00a0<b>ONLY<\/b>\u00a0airport we provide transportation from.\u00a0 We cannot provide transportation from other cities.\u00a0 The Texarkana Airport connects with Dallas\/Fort Worth International Airport.<\/p>\n<p>There is no public transportation between Texarkana and Magnolia, and Magnolia does not have a public transportation system as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details class=\"sau-spoiler\">\n<summary>University Health<\/summary>\n<div class=\"sau-spoiler-body\">You must review the Immunization Information Sheet, to familiarize yourself with the current regulations. You must print out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saumag.edu\/international\/files\/2015\/12\/International-Immunization-Info.-Sheet.docx\">Medical History Form<\/a> and bring the completed form with you to orientation.<\/p>\n<p>You must bring proof of the MMR injection (in English) to our university on the day of orientation.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer students must bring proof of any MMR, T-spot (Quantiferon TB Gold Test) they may have received at a previous school.<\/p>\n<p>Students who do not plan on signing up for Lewermark Insurance through the University must bring proof of their private Insurance on the day of orientation.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details class=\"sau-spoiler\">\n<summary>Paying Tuition<\/summary>\n<div class=\"sau-spoiler-body\">Funds can be sent before you arrive or once your class schedule is made.\u00a0 Tuition and fees will be applied to your student account once you are registered for classes.
