As we navigate the complexities of engineering within a dynamic manufacturing environment, we seek individuals who can bring fresh perspectives, help solve technical challenges, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our operational processes. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience and the potential for full-time opportunities post-program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the development and execution of engineering solutions focused on process improvement, equipment reliability, and production efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to technical projects aimed at reducing downtime, optimizing energy usage, and improving plant performance.<\/li>\n<li>Perform administrative or technical tasks related to tracking and analyzing production and maintenance data.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.<\/li>\n<li>Adapt to evolving operational needs and priorities within the engineering and production departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.<\/li>\n<li>Preferred: Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.<\/li>\n<li>Must remain enrolled in the degree program after completing the internship.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing systems, and industrial equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with tools such as Power BI, AutoCAD, or other engineering software is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Interest in process optimization, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. \u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate with diverse groups of people in a dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with a proactive mindset, eager to learn and take initiative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants can learn more information and apply online <a href=\"https:\/\/saumag.joinhandshake.com\/jobs\/11364238\/share_preview\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for proactive, driven, and innovative interns to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program at Suzano\u2019s Pine Bluff plant in Arkansas.
