Interns work in remote teams of mission-driven young people from around the country to help amplify youth civic engagement and participate in activism on many issues that you care about. <span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The TurnUp Internship program is fully\u00a0remote. <\/span><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">We start new interns at the beginning of each month. <\/span><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">We accept high school, college, and graduate students who apply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Interns develop their civic literacy and democratic competency in a remote yet collaborative setting by participating in civic actions, voter turnout projects, performing targeted outreach, attending the TurnUp Speaker Series, doing civics and issue-related research, writing and presenting, and participating in their weekly team meetings where they share their work and join discussions. All interns are expected to help with existing registration drives at their schools. We support their success in initiating and performing\u00a0 their own registration drives with permission granted from their schools.
