The Support Staff works under the general direction of the Administrator of CCIL.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will be knowledgeable and adhere to CCIL policy\/procedure, DDS policy\/standards and DHS policy, client charts, and treatment plans<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for acquiring annual training hours, CPR, First Aid, TB\/health cards, and other requirements for maintaining employment<\/li>\n<li>To teach, guide, and assist residents in day to day living activities and in learning objectives and techniques<\/li>\n<li>To supervise resident behavior and conduct<\/li>\n<li>To encourage group decision making with respect to household and interpersonal matters; work as a team<\/li>\n<li>To inform other staff of the home of residents needs<\/li>\n<li>To keep records and make reports as required, such as but not limited to collecting data for client goals, behavior plans, health issues, and independent living skills<\/li>\n<li>To provide transportation<\/li>\n<li>To foster and maintain good relations with support persons, day programs, other agencies, neighbors, community, and family<\/li>\n<li>To be able to lift 20-40 lbs.<\/li>\n<li>To perform any other task assigned by Director which will benefit residents and\/or program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of high school diploma and experience with mentally handicapped women in a residential living facility.<\/li>\n<li>Must have valid drivers license and pass Adult and Child Maltreatment Background checks and Arkansas Background Check.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants can learn more information by contacting Melissa Fields at (870) 234-4561.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Columbia County Independent Living, Inc. is seeking to hire a support staff.
