Social Media, Marketing, and Website Intern<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Rankin College of Business is looking to hire an intern with a strong understanding of the digital medial landscape, including various social media platforms. The intern will work closely with our Social Media Coordinator, helping them gather content and graphics and update pages on the website, and help with other marketing for RCB events and student organizations.<\/p>

The intern hired for this position will need to have strong time management skills and be able to work independently and creatively. This position will be for fall 2022 and spring 2023, if available could start in summer 2022.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Responsibilities:<\/p>

\u00b7 Update Website<\/p>

\u00b7 Coordinate with the Social Media coordinator for social media content<\/p>

\u00b7 Editing photos and videos<\/p>

\u00b7 Prepare posters and other marketing materials<\/p>

\u00b7 Promote and support the Let\u2019s Talk Careers Podcast<\/p>

Requirements<\/p>

\u00b7 Marketing\/Business or Mass communication major<\/p>

\u00b7 Experience with Internet and social media platforms<\/p>

\u00b7 Prefer completed Web development class<\/p>

\u00b7 Prefer completed or enrolled in Social Media class<\/p>

\u00b7 Energetic, creative, strong communication skills<\/p>

The Rankin College of Business is looking for a few good podcast hosts. These students will work closely with our Podcast Coordinator helping them plan, interview, and edit podcasts for the Rankin College of Business Let\u2019s Talk Careers Podcast.<\/p>

Students selected for this position will need to have strong time management skills and be able to work independently and creatively. This will be a for fall 2022. If interested, summer 2022 is also a possibility. Students will be expected work on the project 2 hours a week designated at the beginning of the semester.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Podcast Responsibilities:<\/p>

\u00b7 Assist in programming planning by researching stories, sources and potential guests<\/p>

\u00b7 Search out and contact potential interviewees.<\/p>

\u00b7 Plan and carry out interview.<\/p>

\u00b7 Balance audio and edit content for accuracy and brevity<\/p>

\u00b7 Add music and sponsor messaging as needed<\/p>

\u00b7 Create previews of episodes for marketing purposes<\/p>

\u00b7 Maintain show production and marketing calendar<\/p>

Requirements<\/p>

\u00b7 Marketing- Media or other Business major<\/p>

\u00b7 Excellent writing, editing, research, and organizational skills<\/p>

\u00b7 Ability to work independently<\/p>

\u00b7 Ability to accept and implement feedback and edits form team members<\/p>

\u00b7 Energetic, creative, strong communication skills<\/p>
