RETURNING CONSULTANTS

Brittany Bentz is a senior biology major and plans on entering a Masters program in microbiology.  She enjoys playing the piano and singing in the band The Ruxpin.  A big fan of music, Brittany is seldom without her iPod.  She is also quite fond of her cats, Nicholai and Dmitri, although she reports that she really shouldn't be allowed to be responsible for other living creatures.  She wears a hat.  A lot.  It's full of knowledge and secrets.

Leslie Creed is a senior history major from Magnolia.  After graduation, she plans to go to graduate school to obtain a Masters degree in Library Science.  Her hobbies include  reading, sewing, writing, listening to music, and fashion.  Coffee and stuffed animals are among things she loves.

Micah Dean Hicks, a junior English major, is treasurer of Sigma Tau Delta and president of the Emerging Writers Club, the creative writing organization on campus.  He plans to attend graduate school in an MFA program. for creative writing in fiction.  Next to his fiancee, his passions are creative writing and reading.  In fact, his original "version" for this webpage described his enslavement in Turkish galleys and ended with him fighting off conquistadors in the yet-to-be incorporated Arkansas...but he was forced to conform (somewhat) for these pages.  Micah, a native of Springhill, AR, currently lives in Magnolia.

Rebecca Merritt is from Etowah, AR.  She is a junior and is currently pursuing a degree in early childhood education.  She plans to return to northeast Arkansas after college and work as a Kindergarten teacher.  Becca loves to read, listen to music, and spend time with her boyfriend, Brandon.  She also loves children and, after graduating, hopes to get married and start a family soon after college.

Edesiri Onoge, a senior, is majoring in accounting and finance, although he started out as a political science major.  He plans to make money, use money, and give money - a plan that will lead him to law school, then to being a consultant, then a teacher, and finishing with retirement.  He has a large collection of music and movies, and his interests range from fencing and archery to Greek mythology and music.  Edesiri is originally from Delta State, Nigeria.

Kimberly (Frisby) Shirey is a junior accounting and finance major from El Dorado.  In addition to her work in the Writing Center, she is also active in PBL and the Honors College.  After graduation, she plans on becoming a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner.  She enjoys spending time with her new husband, Chris, and her family and friends - especially her little brother, Jordan.

Gitanjali Shrestha, from Nepal, is a junior majoring in both Sociology and English.  Her minor is Spanish.  Recently, she developed an interest in American Sign Language.  She plans to study sociology in graduate school and to go into demographic research.

NEW CONSULTANTS

Alicia Burdue is an English major from El Dorado.  She has three kids and will be posting more information here soon!

Kayla Henderson is a sophomore with a double major in English and Spanish education.  She is from Maud, a very small town about thirty minutes away from Texarkana.  She has an aquatic frog named Price, who enjoys swilling upside down.  She is very involved in band, Alpha Phi Omega, and Honors College.  Kayla tells us that when she is bored, she enjoys playing pranks on her friends and having "deep philosophical conversations."  The question is, can she do both at once?

Girwan Khadka comes from a far-away land called Kathmandu, a place Cat Stevens has been promising he "will be coming soon" to visit.  Psychology is his major and, in his second year in college, he believes it will be a lifetime labour (one of love, of course).  He is involved with the International Student Organization, Psychology Club, and choir (since he loves singing).  In his free time, he sings, writes, draws occasionally, and watches movies often.

Krissie Treadway, a business administration major with an emphasis in marketing, is a junior.  SIFE is life, according to Krissie, but she is also involved in College Republicans and is a student representative for the Honors College.  Her interests and hobbies fill a page - but her talents are public speaking, singing, and sales.  She plans to compete for Miss SAU, Miss Arkansas, and Miss American; go to graduate school in New York City; become CEO of a Fortune 100 compan;, travel the world; get a Ph.D.; become a professor; get married; and have kids.  In that order!
