Assignments

The goal of this class is to familiarize the student with the various techniques and media of hand-illustration, a most valuable asset for the graphic designer, even in today's computer-design driven market. We explore such media as graphite, pen & ink, colored pencil, pastel and watercolor. Subjects are from a wide range of academic traditions. Versatility and media mastery are emphasized, as well as high-quality materials, professional work ethics and presentation.
