Restaurant Advertisement

Illustration:
For this assignment, you will produce an illustration of a plate of cooked food. The food may be anything you like as long as it has been cooked. You may include other elements as well if you wish (fork, napkin, part of the table, etc. I recommend using an actual plate of food that you or someone you know has cooked, and have the plate sitting in front of you when you work (make sure you have already eaten first). You may use photographic reference material as long as the final product looks believable.

Your primary goal in illustrating cooked food is two-fold.
A. It must look like genuine, identifiable food!
B. The food you illustrate must look appetizing and delicious!

This illustration will be in color. You may use any media, or combination of media you like, as long as it is hand-illustrated, and not manipulated in the computer. The final image size will be 8" tall and 10" wide.

This illustration will become part of an advertisement that you will create for a restaurant, to be identified later.

Sketches and color roughs due at the beginning of class Wednesday. Final illustration is due Friday. Advertisement including your illustration is due Monday.
