Assignment: Economic Use of Line
Within design, sometimes what is not shown can be as effective, if not more, that what is show. Restraint, implication and mystery are qualities of the principle of economy. This also relates to the idea of visual closure. Using as few marks as possible, create drawings that communicate the following:
1. A Cat
2. Money
3. Dancing
4. Fire
5. A Car
6. A Horse
7. Fear
8. Happiness
9. Death
10. A Pineapple
You may use the drawing medium of your choice. Drawings may appear all on one sheet of paper if desire. Works do not need to be mounted.
