Within an 11 x 14"or 14" x 11" format, you are to create a design of your choice that utilizes the concept of emphasis in some or fashion,. This may be achieved through the use of central placement, isolation, contrast of shapes, contrast of values, contrast of character, contrast in size, proportion or through other means. Your design should contain a focal point. You may achieve emphasis through grouping peripheral elements about the intended focal point. The success or failure of your design will be whether your audience is drawn to your intended area of emphasis or not.
You may use the medium of your choice - no color, only black, white and shades of gray.
Mount with a 3/4" border on the top and sides and 1 1/2" on the bottom.
