An Analogous Portrait

You will create an original painting--a portrait. Not just any portrait, but a fellow student in this class. You should attempt not only to capture a likeness of the person, but also a sense of who they are-their personality. You may paint on paper, cardboard, or canvasette at a size of 11" x 14". You will also use a completely analogous color scheme. Please look in your book if you forget the definition of analogous. If you are absent on the day I give this assignment, just look in the mirror. We will try to spend at least half a class period for each person to sketch their "portrait partner" and then switch.

Mount your paintings on foamboard with a 3/4" border.
