Old Master Reproduction and Alteration

You are to take the old Master image you have selected and reproduce it verbatim. Then, you are to reproduce it again, but change all the colors to something else. Size is up to you, but no larger than 24" at its longest dimension.

You may use either mixed paints or cut paper. No computer prints this time.

Though it seems easy to match colors, it’s not as simple as it seems. Remember that colors are affected by those around them, so it may take a little effort to isolate them.

The color you replace may be of any scheme you wish: complementary, arbitrary, analogous, or just make it up yourself.

Do mount this on foamboard – I will also leave border size up to you. Have fun!
