Create a composition using swatches of 5 different shades of grey (1" squares — total of 25, 5 of each shade — no black, no white) Final size of composition will be 5" x 5". You will then create a monochrome version of the exact same composition — equating the values of grey with values of blue. Make sure you use ultramarine blue. Then, you will do the same thing using values of red.

You will then mount all three, in order from left to right: black, blue red, for a finished size of 7" x 19". Remember how important this is as far as craftsmanship is concerned. Get it all straight!
