Welcome to the Arkansas State Art Historical Project!

The goal of this site is to provide an online, researchable database of images, history and biographies of artists who lived and worked primarily within the state of Arkansas. The purpose is to provide easy access to this otherwise difficult to obtain information for scholars, educators and students within the state. It is also another way to distribute information and help preserve our state's cultural heritage.
