Artist statement:
"Living on Little Red Mountain as I do, I am constantly inspired by the natural beauty of the valley below us and the towering rugged cliffs that surround us. However, I believe art is about ideas, feelings, emotions, and perceptions, and thought provoking sense of wonder and appreciation for subjects that have moved man from the beginning of time. In other words, it is something to become involved with; not a mere decoration. It is an extension of man, resonates with life, is an active process, and not a passive state."
