Jim Ringley

Jim grew up in rural Arkansas where he began his artistic career painting landscapes around the family farm. In the mid 1980's he moved to Boulder to pursue studies in poetry which eventually led him to the art of collage, a highly flexible and personal artform. "Anyone can do it," he says. "All it takes is imagination--and glue." Jim’s work has been awarded prizes in exhibitions around the country and was featured on "Living Treasures of Colorado", a television interview program. His art can be found in the permanent collections of the Arkansas Arts Center and the Wichita Falls Museum of Art.
