Pat Musick was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1926 and lives in Huntsville, AR. In February of 2003, he had a solo exhibition at the Arkansas Arts Center called "OFF THE WALL." Musick holds both an MFA (1973) and a Doctor of Philosophy (1974) from Cornell University.

Musick is a key figure in the Ozarks Woodland Sculpture Garden, a non-profit, environmental sculpture garden located in a remote area of Northwest Arkansas on a twelve acre meadow adjoining the Kings' River. It is sponsored by the University of the Ozarks through an educational program in which students and an Arkansas sculptor collaborate once a year to produce a monumental sculpture in the garden.
