Robert Munson Howe

Robert Munson Howe's artistic talents were recognized while he was in grade school, and his work was earning recognition and winning awards before he finished high school.
Art studies in college and advanced art education led to graphic works, paintings, and sculpture that elicited enthusiastic response from teachers, art critics, and the public. His work has been exhibited in many major museums and galleries.
Dr. Howe has received four academic degrees, and was Professor of Fine Arts at Southwest Missouri State University for twenty years. He was also Visiting Lecturer of Fine Arts at Vanderbilt University.
He has had a distinguished military career, including participation in five military campaigns, and schooling in Navy and Army tactical and strategic programs.
After painting, printing, and exhibiting in the Dallas area for several years, Dr. Howe moved his home and studio to the Arkansas Ozarks where he is continuing with his career as a full-time artist.
