Chuck Dorr was born in Arkansas in 1944 and now lives in Fayetteville. "Through all the years and so many different subjects, there has been a recurring theme: the deliberate order of architecture and the random order found in nature. There has always been a single goal in my work, to capture that silent order and, in it, provide a quiet place for meditation." George received a M.F.A. in painting from the University of Arkansas in 1977 and a B.A. in Architectural Design from the University of Arkansas in 1974. His work was shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, he received many awards and his work is featured in numerous corporate collections.
