Jerry W. Coker was born in Dewitt, Arkansas in 1938, but has lived most of his life in Florida. He now lives in Gainesville. He started painting in the 1970s and is entirely self taught. Jerry paints with acrylic on board. His paintings are colorful and tend to be impressionistic. He also makes tin masks.
