David Bailin

David Bailin was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but cerrently lives in Little Rock. He is one of only two Arkansas artists to have received a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship in painting (1989). He also received painting fellowships from the Arkansas Arts Council (1989) and the Mid-America/National Endowment for the Arts (1988). For ten years he was the director of the Museum School at the Arkansas Arts Center. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Arkansas and the University of Little Rock. His work Cain was the Grand Award winner in the 41st annual Delta Competitive Exhibition.
