The current-year graduated seniors, who meet Southern Arkansas
University admission requirements, attend the first summer
term and enroll in up to 6 hours of regular freshman college courses to
be selected from Fundamentals of Math I, Fundamentals of Writing
I, College Reading I and II, Composition, College Algebra,
Freshman Seminar, Speech and Health.
Upward Bound pays the cost of tuition, room and board, fees, and
books. Additionally, the program provides academic advising,
personal counseling, and tutoring for Bridge participants.
