The Academic Year Component

     

         From September to May, participants come to the university campus two (2) or three (3) times per month to attend classes.  The Academic Year curriculum includes ACT Preparation in math, computerized ACT Preparation in English, study skills, creative writing, library research, and career orientation.  Participants receive individualized academic tutoring, personal and group counseling, and academic advising.  Students also attend career orientation workshops and selected cultural activities.
