Involvement Beyond the Classroom
The Office of Student Activities provides numerous
involvement opportunities for student outside of the classroom. Membership
opportunities in over 70 student organizations including organizations which
volunteer in the community, participate in leadership development, attend and
plan social, educational, and recreational activities. Involvement in student
organizations offers leadership opportunities, networking, professional
experience, and lasting friendships.
College students involved outside the classroom
perform better academically and are usually more satisfied with their college
experience.
