Muleriders Email
In an effort to improve communications with students and alumni, SAU has chosen to partner with Windows Live@Edu and provide students and alumni with a new e-mail, communication and collaborative service. Students can use the provided e-mail inbox along with additional services like Office Live Workspace, Windows Live SkyDrive, and more that encourage collaboration.
The centerpiece of the service is Windows Live Hotmail, the successor to MSN Hotmail that includes:
- 5 GB inbox
- calendar sharing
- contact management
- access to e-mail from mobile phones and Post Office Protocol (POP) clients
- improved spam filtering
- 5 GB SkyDrive folder accessible from anywhere
Your new Windows Live@Edu account has been created. Effective July 1, 2008, all official university communication will be sent to your new e-mail address. Your Windows Live ID is your current username plus @muleriders.saumag.edu (i.e. ABStudent1234@muleriders.saumag.edu). Your password will be the last six digits of your SSN. Please note your email address will continue to work after you graduate. Once you are no longer a student, the only difference you will notice is that your account will display advertisements beside your messages.
