Lewisville Red Devils Down Warriors

In SAU Girls Tourney Action

Magnolia, Ark.—A 69-39 victory over West Side Christian in the Southern Arkansas University High School girl’s basketball tournament improved Lewisville’s record to 5-1 on the season.

LaSharde Harper and Clarissa Willis led the Lady Red Devils with 14 points with Jennifer Walters adding nine and Whitney Lamkin contributing eight.

West Side Christian’s leading scorer was Amber Jackson with 11. Sarah Wilkerson was the other Lady Warrior in double-figures with 10 points.

The Lady Warriors dropped to 1-4 overall with Lewisville advancing to play Wednesday at 7:30pm. The Lady Red Devils will play the winner of Union and Prescott, a game to be played Monday, at 3:30pm.
