Arkansas Tech Captures Golf Tournament

Tech University won the Derrall Foreman Invitational golf tournament Saturday
at Cleveland, Miss., hosted by Delta State University. ATU shot a two-day total
of 603, the University of North Alabama was runner-up with 607, the University
of Central Arkansas third with 615, Union University, Tenn., fourth with 618,
DSU (White) fifth with 619, Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist
University tied for sixth with 625, Missouri Baptist College was eighth with
635, the University of Mobile ninth with 641, Christian Brothers University and
host DSU tied for 10th with 653, Southern Arkansas University moved up to 12th
place with 659, the University of Montevallo 13th with 660, Hinds, Miss.,
Community College 14th with 670 and Millsaps College, Miss., 15th with 696.
The
Muleriders placed no individual in the top 15 but Matt Hubbard tied for 23rd
with a two-day total of 156 (81 Friday, 75 Saturday), Leonard Biddle tied for
29th with 158 (80 Friday, 78 Saturday), Daniel Green 64th (86
Friday, 85 Saturday), Dustin Gallier and Adam Hamilton tied for 71st with 176
(both 90 Friday and 86 Saturday) and Justin Collins 79th (99 Friday, 84
Saturday).
