‘Riders Improve National Rankings

Magnolia, Ark.—Southern Arkansas University is ranked in the top 20 on two NCAA Division II football polls but had to settle for 25^th on another. In Dopke Rankings, the Muleriders are 18^th and are 19^th in the D2Football.com poll. However, SAU is only 25^th in Don Hansen’s Top 40 after defeating Tarleton State University 27-24 in Stephenville, Tex., last week.

The American Football Coaches Poll is scheduled to be released Tuesday. Tarleton was ranked 14^th last week in the AFCA Poll while SAU was 20^th.

SAU meets Texas A&M University-Commerce here Saturday at 7 p.m. when it will be “Take a Kid to the Game Week.”
