Greetings from our President...

Hello All,

I hope all is well! Well---Its time for our conference!

We started and completed our “Action Plan!” I know you join me with much anticipation of our first edition of the Journal of Research in Business Information Systems. Our Program Chair, Carla Barber has organized an outstanding schedule of events for next week. Please review the program and plan to “attend all” events!

We make a special request for you to attend the Business Meeting @ 8:30 am on March 6 (Thursday) after our Continental Breakfast (8am)! We have a number of items for discussion that require input from members. We believe your input will be beneficial with respect to needs and/or expected outcomes related to membership in a professional organization. For example, we will discuss and vote regarding information needed to register the journal in Cabell’s directory as a refereed publication. We believe your input will provide a broad range of information and/or needs assessment related to publication and/or accreditation requirements focusing on members’ college/university guidelines.

We are looking forward to “you” joining us in Houston!
